I have a running joke with anyone that will listen to me long enough that the Mister doesn’t trust me around technology.
While he always has the latest and greatest gadgets, I should consider myself lucky that I am worthy of his hand-me-downs. I’ve often wondered why this is. Is it because I’m the type of person who watches regular channels on our HD TV? Or maybe it’s because the words giga and byte aren’t in my daily vernacular? Is it because I don’t subscribe to the MacRumours RSS feed? Or cuz I don’t give my computer or phone the regular updates when prompted (sorry, but I don’t want to restart!)? I know – it has to be because I don’t attend LAN parties (don’t ask…).
NO, it’s because I do things like this…

We’re back! No matter how long we’re gone, it’s always nice to come home to our little house we love oh-so-much. But after four beautiful days at Santa Rosa Beach, it sure was difficult to pull ourselves out of bed this morning and jump into work-mode.
Bean was a world-class traveler and I’m putting together a “traveling with baby” post. I also have lots of yummy restaurantsto recap, as well as a Pilates class review! But in the meantime, here’s what I’ve been up to these past few days.
Now you know why you haven’t heard from me

My fridge is empty.
My house is in shambles.
And I’m currently questioning the state of my underarm region — did I remember to put on deodorant this morning?
Yes, I am packing. Because tomorrow the Mister and I leave for a four day Florida adventure!

We’re currently in the process of trying to figure out what we NEED to bring. To the Mister, this means EVERYTHING. Need I remind you that the Mister is the type of man that actually purchases and keeps emergency kits in the car/basement/everywhere JUST IN CASE. Please try to imagine packing for a trip with this person. (Love you, honey).
Anyway, while we argue over what toys and gear is necessary for Beanie, please share some of YOUR travel tips — we’ll take all the help we could get right now
And if you are travelling via plane this weekend, please, please don’t roll your eyes at the family with the screaming baby. Your efforts would be better spent sending them a complimentary cocktail
