Finally, a break from the rain here in Cleveland! Get outside now, though, cuz it’s not supposed to last long… But don’t worry, I have a plan. I’m simply going to ignore it, announce to the universe that it’s a beautiful Spring — and the weather will follow suit. Right…

Well, at least I have some cheery, colorful fashions that have me thinking spring and summer this week.

• Shoes – red platform wedges photo cut them off!

We got all dressed up this past weekend for Jason’s cousin’s wedding ceremony. I changed into this dress (it’s Vera Wang) for the reception. We clean up pretty good, no?

What did you wear this week to defy the rain?

This week I brought in the warmer weather by phasing out of my warmer, wintery pieces – it just so happens they were both blueish, i.e. winter blues – so clever, aren’t I?

This first outfit was actually an example of one of my spring/summer dresses winterized. See how I added a scarf and distressed boots? To make this more summery I’d add a cute pair of sandals and call it a day!

This next outfit incorporates one of my FAVORITE jackets that I picked up on one of my Chicago trips. In order to make it more spring-like, I paired it with a bright skirt.
