Get ready people, because he doesn’t grace us with his presence very often…
several words come to mind, no? terrifying? horrific?
I am the luckiest.
Note: The Mister is celebrating the end of full-beard February today at work. All month, they grew out their beards with the plan to shave everything but the mustache for one-day-only (so I hope). The Mister decided to kick things up a notch and selected an ensemble that might be seen on a 40-year-old who lives in his mother’s basement, spending far too much time playing world of Warcraft. I think we pretty much hit this one out of the park, no?
One outfit to share this week! It features a comfortable, baggy dress that I picked up at Anthrpologie about a year or two ago. I added a belt, to define my waist and paired it with darker accents — the dress was on the lighter side and could have potentially washed me out. I was happy with the overall look!
- Dress: Anthropologie
- Scarf + Boots: Gucci
- Belt: Anthropologie
- Tights: HUE
- Blouse: A.B.S.
Tomorrow the Mister and I are getting glammed up (he’ll be wearing a tux!) for the Jump Back Ball — now THAT will be a fashionable event I’ll be sure to share pics!
What are you up to this weekend?
I managed to get a few poor-quality photos this week — better than nothing, right?
In the mix:
Dress – Target
Cardigan – Anthropologie
Ankle boots – Jeffrey Campbell
I loved this outfit because of the color combination. I am currently obsessed with this odd shade of green and I thought it worked well with the muted colors of the dress. I added interest to the outfit with my leopard ankle boots, which may be a bit much for some, but added just the right amount of personality, in my opinion — what do you think?
And to end on a good-photo note, he’s an adorable one of Bean
Such a little charmer.
And yes, he’s sporting addidas – If only you could see his matching shwoosh pants
