Fashion Friday – need your karma!

HELLO!!!

Can you tell I’m in a GREAT mood this morning?! Short day here at the office, followed by a loooong weekend! Plus, the Mister and I are heading to Michigan tonight for a Beringer reception and the big steak challenge is tomorrow! The rest of the weekend is jam-packed with the Mister’s bday activities – I think I might be more excited than him! In other news, the house walk-through yesterday went SO WELL. I am in love. I’m just really crossing my fingers than can come down just a little bit in the rent — please send good karma and cross your fingers for me!

Alright, enough of my yammering and onto the outfits!

I am obsessed with this dress. SO COMFORTABLE! I love how you can snazz it up with accessories, but still make it work-appropriate with a cardigan. I think paring it with sexy wedge heels and sparkly jewelry would make this a great outfit for a wedding or night out, too!

Another one of my favorite zella tops! This outfit was comfortable, colorful and perfect for a casual Friday at the office. The bright purple and muted yellow really do it for me – so simple, but refreshing!

I can’t wait to bust out my FALL clothes! I have some awesome pregnancy ensembles, too! After all, Starbucks has deemed it fall already!

Fashion Friday – My attempts to looks classy while being pregnant

Happy Friday!

Lots going on today — meetings all morning at work, and leaving around 2:00 for Tracy’s rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Then later tonight I’m headed to a family party to celebrate the birth of my new cousin! I can’t wait to meet him and see the rest of my fam ;)

Before I scurry off and head into the day, let’s share some fashion pics!

I’m lucky that I have so many wonderful skirts, because for the most part, I can just pull them up over my bump and I’m good to go!

If I could wear these Zella shirts every day of my life, I would. I’m going to try and find them in EVERY color! They are actually an “active wear”/workout shirt, but they are so stretchy and versatile, the make the perfect pregnancy shirt! I love you, Zella ;)

This is what I’m wearing to the rehearsal today. I’ll tell ya what, it is HARD to look nice and polished when you have a baby in your belly! I hope I manage to look somewhat presentable ;)

Happy Friday, friends! What’s shakin? Today is a busy, work-filled day with meetings and trying to make a bunch of deadlines, so I’m going to hop to it!

I liked this outfit because it was comfortable, cute and had a nice pop of color ;) For whatever reason the skirt felt a little “punk,” too, so I kinda felt like a badass, and that’s ALWAYS a good thing ;)

Isn’t it funny that you can’t really notice my bump from the front? TRUST ME, when I turn to the side, it pops right out!

Fashion Friday – Cute (I hope!) but comfy

HAPPY FRIDAY! You have no idea how happy I am for the weekend to be here! We have lots of fun stuff planned, but first – the FASHION!

This week was all about comfort. I often feel like I’m in the “awkwardly chubby” stage of pregnancy where people can’t tell if I’m pregnant or have just eaten too many doughnuts. In my attempts to looks cute (and stay comfortable), here’s what I came up with.

Look at that BUMP! Jeez, it popped up overnight!

  • Skirt – Hand-me-down from my boss
  • Shoes – Sam Edelman

I think this outfit did a good job of keeping me comfortable without looking too sloppy.

My favorite outfit this week I’m actually wearing today for casual Friday.

  • Necklace – J Crew
  • Scarf – Urban Outfitters
  • Cotton Cardigan – SAKS

When you are pregnant, accessories are KEY! I love that I get to stick with comfortable basics, but style things up a bit with fun accessories.

The Mister and I are leaving work a bit early this afternoon to get on the road to visit friends and check out my brother’s new digs! My baby brother  just moved away from home for his first job – GAH! Time flies…

Fashion Friday

Happy Friday!

How is everyone today? I am… exhausted, overwhelmed, BEAT! BlogHer was quite a whirlwind! A fun and interesting whirlwind, but still pretty mind-boggling. I’ll be sure to write a full re-cap for everyone who’s interested ;)

In the meantime, here’s some fashion fun!

I loved the eclecticness (is that a word?) of this week’s outfit. I pulled some random pieces that night not immediately feel like a good fit, but I think the worked well to create a unique look.

So I know the photos are horrific, but the Mister and I have been on different morning schedules this week (i.e. he’s been sleeping in and would make us too late to drive in together), so I’ve had to resort to icky iPhone photos. I’ll get him in line, I promise!

Right now, I’m relaxing on the couch watching CakeBoss, waiting for the Mister to get to the Big Apple!! We have Mexican on the menu for dinner – I can’t wait! In the meantime, help me decide what to order!
