As I walk into my office every morning I think to myself — I’m a sight for sore eyes.
Aside from the fact that I’m normally trying to camouflage spit-up and crusty drool-caked hair, I also hobble along like a small troll as I juggle my multiple bags.

I’ve got my purse, which also normally contains a grocery store bag housing my lunch, my breast pump bag and a new addition, weighing in at more than 20 pounds.
Why so heavy?
To carry my dumbells, of course.

To say that I’ve been slacking with my arm workouts is an understatement. But it’s hard to come home and be Mommy, Wife and still make time to fit in an arm workout. Simple solution — fitting it in at work! Every other day, I’ll shut myself into one of the empty offices during lunch or afterhours and pump my iron so I don’t have to worry about it at home.
Tony Horton provides my “set.”

For those of you who use the excuse of “not having enough time,” I urge you to look for snippets of time in your own lives where you might be able to squeeze in a workout. Chances are, you’ll find a stretch of 20 minutes.
And hey, I may look and sound crazy, but at least I’ll be able to carry my bags
How often do we see things and think — WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT?
For example, Foodieregistry.com
Foodie Registry was started by a couple of Chicago foodies who love nothing more than the experience of a great meal at a fabulous restaurant. The company is based on two simple ideas. First most couples already own many of the items found on a traditional registry. Second, people love good food. Put that together and what do you get? A restaurant gift registry. For foodies. A Foodie Registry.
Available in NYC, Chicago, Denver and San Francisco, with plans to explan to more cities soon.
Who needs new china and kitchenware, when you can just eat out for the first year of your marriage?
It’ll be a dangerous day when this service come to Cleveland. Why? Because I’ll create a registry for anyone who ever wants to buy me a gift — birthday, x-mas, you name it! Who says you have to be getting married to create a gift registry?

P.S. I could die tomorrow and Foodieregistry.com would not even know I existed on this earth. I simply saw the service featured in Food Network Magazine and thought I’d be kind enough to share it with all of you
Would you ever create a Foodie Registry? Why or why not?
I wore the same pair of jeans twice this week.
Oops.
Did I mention I have about 30 pairs? But I really like these.
I think I managed to wear them differently and I don’t think anyone noticed my fashion faux-pas. Or they just didn’t care.
Look #1

- Jeans – J Brand
- Vest – This gem is at least 25 years old, swiped from Mamas closet
- Blouse – NORDSTROM
- Belt – Anthropologie
- Shoes – BCBG
I call this, young professional, who doesn’t take herself to seriously
Pair this with a camel pencil skirt and tuck the shirt ion for a super buttoned-up look. But with wide leg jeans and the shirt untucked, it’s dressy enough for the office, but casual enough that people won’t assume I’m interviewing
For those of you who always ask, yes, I can wear jeans at work. One of the many benefits of working at an ad agency.
This next look is more casual and laid back. I’m wearing this today cuz it’s Friday and I like to look cool and laid back

Close up of the shoes

Happy Friday, lovelies! What is everyone getting into this weekend? Lots of fun, I hope!
