Our man hits 5 months!

It’s hard to believe that our little man is 5 MONTHS old. Almost half a year! Holy cajoley. With each passing month…day…second…it gets harder and harder to imagine life without him. And that’s a good thing, because I don’t want to.
Each day, this little man warms more of my heart and fits more and more perfectly into the little puzzle of life the Mister and I have created together. And each day, I watch, smiling, as I see the Mister transform into a Daddy any Little would be so incredibly blessed to call their own.
Bean brings out the best in both of us and we are so incredibly proud and blessed to be his parents.
At five months, Sawyer is…
- Sitting upright for longer periods of time before toppling over
- Master of the Jumperoo – boy’s got moves!
- Belly laughing, on the reg – is there a sweeter sound?
- Eating rice cereal (more on this later)
- Getting closer to crawling — he is what we call “inching”
- Babbling with consanants! Imitating sounds — i.e. bababa
New loves:
- Books, books, books – he helps turn the pages!
- Singing and dancing to “That Baby CD”
- Lamby (yes, Sawyer has a Burberry lamb — baller)
- Blowing raspberries
- Doing the airplane with Daddy
- Grabbing our faces (which sometimes are accompanied by painful twisting and sctratching
)
New hates:
- Waking up alone ;(
