Yesterday was Bean’s 4 month birthday! We celebrated with a lovely cocktail.

…of vaccinations…

We learned that he is in the 90th percentile for height (26.25 inches), 50th for weight (14 pounds 6 ounces) and 25th for head circumference. We made sure to capture our little pea head in all his 4-month glory. Before the shots, of course

What a little man!

At four months, Sawyer…

• Responds to his name
• Grabs his feet
• Has started teething – drool everywhere!!

New loves:

• Sophie! (his giraffe teether)
• Helping Mommy turn the pages when reading a book
• Sitting on our laps at restaurants
• Anything with a screen — lord help me!
• His bouncy seat
• Looking at himself in the mirror
• Applause

New hates:

• When the Mister and I leave his line of sight and he’s with strangers
• Not being able to see what’s going on around him

   A good thing to do is take the baby tylenol and a bottle with you. That way you give him the tylenol right before the shots and the bottle right afterward. The tylenol will help with the fever and achies. That advice helped my little guy peacefully make it through shots. Now when we wean from the bottle…..OY!! He is beautiful and I love your updates. PS I totally stole your letter to Daddy and my husband got all teary eyed and loved it!
