Milestones

My mom was a journaler. I don’t think she knew it at the time, but she chronicled my every milestone, my every life event. She ended up creating a scrapbook, which outlined the key highlights of my life, complete with funny stories and updates. For my first few years of life, she would make lists of what I was currently into. Ya know, my fave Sesame Street Character, what song I was singing at the top of my lungs from Lamb Chops Playalong and what baby foods I was downing like a champ. Now that I have my own little Gremblin, it’s been fun to read through them and see what I was doing at his age. While he’s still very new to the world without any tricks up his sleeve, I think it’ll be fun to track his growing personality each month.

But first, let’s take a look at my first baby pictures — see the resemblance to the Little Bean?

I am so looking forward to see how these lists grow over the next few months!

Did your parents keep records of your childhood? Do you plan on doing so for your kids?

Wow you two look ALOT of like :) That is such a great idea to keep the milestones and likes/dislikes. Too Cute! Tell Daddy to get a beach house somewhere warm, since good ole Ohio is cold ALOT :) Sawyer has great taste hehe.
