Daily Delish – I’ll tap dance for tapenade!

Daily Delish

Despite all the extravagant, gourmet food the Mister and I enjoyed on our vacation, it’s the simple stuff I can’t forget. Like The W’s tapenade. Made with fresh olives and black beans, this was the best tapenade I’ve ever tasted. I’d love to re-create it myself, but I fear my limited knowledge on tapenade ingredient ratios will hinder my ability. W, Vieques – can you help a foodie out?!

Any other foodies out there, have you seen (or made!) a similar recipe?

Just look at the spreadable heaven!

Ah, to be in paradise again.

Are you a fan of tapenade? What was the tastiest thing you’ve tried on vacation?

  1. I love love love a good tapenade. My favorite is at Farenheit. I had to keep myself from snagging all the bowls of it with the bread service!!!

I’d say start with a basic recipe (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/tapenade-recipe/index.html) and add and subtract until you get it the way you’d like it. Then make sure to share it on the blog!!!

I LOVE tapenade!!! It is so good spread on bread with a little cheese on top broiled for a couple minutes.

  3. oooh I love olive tapenade – but I have never thought of adding black beans….GENIUS!
I love semi dried tomato tapenade too!

Yum – love tapenade! When I was in Quebec City this summer I tried rabbit rillette, heavenly.

  6. [...] Isn’t it funny how you might order an elaborate, equally delish meal, but remember the side dish? – or tapenade! [...]
