Work It

Happy humpday!

For those of you who need a little pick-me-up (or just have some time to kill), I’ve once again compiled some good reads from this week. Sometimes reading some new information can motivate you to try new things or keep doing what you are doing! Knowledge is power! Right? ;)

Take it outside! Study shows that just five minutes of exercise in a park, working in a backyard garden, on a nature trail, or other green space will benefit mental health.

You all know how much I love my kettlebells! He’s an article reviewing different brands/types.

Pregnant women don’t get a free pass for exercise and fitness! Study Shows Trend of Increasing Obesity in Pregnant Moms Contributing to Higher Body Fat in Newborns.

Working on those abs? Be sure to practice this yoga pose.

Is your back sore? How To Do Back Exercises At Home.

More proof that your work now will pay off later — Study Finds That Those Who Exercise When Young Have Stronger Bones When They Grow Old

Did I miss anything? What are you reading about this week?

See you all later for the Daily Delish!

  2. haha, awesome! I’m nearly six months pregnant and still running three to four times a week and have never felt better! I love exercising and it’s definitely been wonderful to exercise while pregnant.

  3. Definitely agree with the need for 5 minute breaks…Puts everything back in perspective!

  4. I’m reading my new cookbook – Vegan Planet, and The Everything Organic Baby and Toddler Food Cookbook. And a few poems by Alicia Ostriker for good balance :)
