		<description>Beef jerky is a staple in our travel.  In fact, I only crave beef jerky when we travel whether it&#039;s by car or by plane!  

Other items that we bring - PB &amp; J and whole wheat bread and wasabi peas (these are so spicey, you can only have barely a handful anyways!)</description>

		<description>I always try to pack healthy snacks when traveling - most of the time I&#039;ll stick with my snack, and other times I&#039;ll indulge a little. 

My favourites are fruit and veggies, Vega Whole Food bars, Lara bars (homemade!), nuts, dried fruit. If we&#039;re traveling somewhere where there&#039;s a fridge (like my parents for a weekend), I&#039;ll bring yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and almond milk (and all the fixins!) for a Green Monster. Sometimes having some dry cereal (Kashi!) on hand is good, too! 

I really try to stick to natural foods, though, rather than those 100 calorie packages. I find that they&#039;re not worth the money and they&#039;re full of additives and preservatives and just not good for me anyway!
