Daily Delish – Blogger meet-up at Johnny Mango

I know this post is overdue. I have no excuses, I just suck. OK, that might be a little harsh, as I happen to think I’m pretty cool, but I do apologize.

Last Thursday I told you guys that I was heading to Johnny Mango for a blogger dinner. I did not lie. That is exactly what I did.

What I didn’t tell you (since I am in fact, NOT Sylvia Browne) was that I would leave dinner full. Not just with a belly full of food, but with my HEART full of new friendships.

You just threw up a little bit, didn’t you?

And there go all my readers. Nice known’ ya.

All kidding and cheeseballness aside, I really did have a fantastic time and loved hanging out with this group of kick-ass ladies. In many cases, it truly felt like I was meeting long-lost friends. Not only did so many of us have a lot in common, but after reading their blogs for so long, I truly felt as if I “knew” them — very bizarre (in a cool, non-creepy way)

But before I get into that. FOOD!

First of all, THANK you for helping me decide!

I went with the grilled chicken and cashew salad, which included chicken (duh), cashews, grilled veggies, lettuce and a fresh, cucumber dill dressing.

’twas excellent.

Now back to the important stuff– bloggies! The conversation and laughter was flowing and we all decided that we’re gonna have to meet up a lot more often. Which is nice, because who wouldn’t want to hang out with these sexy ladies?

Have you met any bloggers in real life? Were they how you thought they would be? I always wonder what bloggers/readers think when they meet ME in person (I think Allison mentioned she thought about this, as well)! Do YOU come across the same way in person that you do on your blog?

    I have met some people off the internet (I have a journal on another website and I’ve met several people from there) but I’ve never met a healthy living blogger. I actually don’t know if there are other portuguese healthy living bloggers!
