Daily Delish – Charlize Theron and GLO BARS

Categories:

Daily Delish

You know that J’adore commercial where Charlize Theron makes you feel like an awkward 14-year-old? Because she’s SO incredibly, unattainably sexy? I don’t think I could be that sexy if I had round-the-clock lessons and a new set of ankles — I tend to trip…a lot. That little necklace she throws to the ground? Yeah, I’d trip over the beads. If I could just have the sexiness she carries in the TIP OF HER PINKY finger my life might be a little different…but I digress.

But even though I can’t strut like Charlize, I can still FEEL like Charlize. How? I’m so glad you asked!

Created by the ever-so-talented Angela, own of Glo Bakery (and blogger behind Oh She Glows), these little babies can make anyone feel sexy. Some of you look confused. Let me break it down for you…

From the Glo Bakery website:

Do you dream of mouth-watering S’mores roasted over the campfire? Well, now you can enjoy one in a delicious Glo Bar- and it’s vegan to boot! Roasted vegan marshmallows, handmade chunky vegan graham crackers, dark chocolate, and cacao nibs come together to create a Glo Bar filled with love and adoration.

Ingredients: Oats, brown rice syrup, chunky homemade graham crackers (spelt, water, sucanat, canola oil, agave, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, baking powder), natural peanut butter, non-dairy dark chocolate, vegan marshmallows (corn syrup, beet sugar, corn starch, corn dextrose, carrageenan, soy protein, vanilla flavor, titanium dioxide, salt), crisp rice cereal, flax seed, cacao nibs, pure vanilla extract.

Homemade graham crackers? Dark chcolate? MARSHMELLOWS? Now just try and look me square in the eye and tell me marshmallows aren’t sexy. I DARE YOU! And did I mention each glo bar is wholesome and healthy? So you won’t just feel sexy, you’ll look it.

These bars really do taste as good as they sound (and look!). I love that they are soft and practically melt in your mouth. The pillowy marshmallows are making my mouth watering just thinking about ‘em! With each bite, you feel more and more of the love. I’m tellin’ you, they are definitely the most delicious way to feel sexy. I urge you all to buy some — you won’t regret it!

If you need, me, I’ll be practicing my strut.

What foods make you feel sexy?

  1. i don’t know if i’ve ever thought of it like that, but i’d say eating something healthful (veggies, fruit, whatever) makes me feel good about myself, and because of that i feel sexy!

  2. Oooooh good question!! I think maybe chocolate fondue …

  3. Thanks for the great review!!!

That just happens to be one of my fav commercials of all time…she is a class act!

  4. hahahah, quite funny. She is damn sexy. (Not so much in Monster.) Those glow bars are to DIE for.

  10. Those bars are AWESOME!!! Seriously… why are Glo Bars not in stores?! They are better than any store bought bar you can buy. So worth the price… so worth it.

Haha you made me literally LOL. Sexy and me… yeah… I trip a lot too. I have issues with that. I guess… wine makes me feel sexy? Even though that’s not really food…

  11. haha, I love the way you described the J’Adore commercial. It’s so true. My jaw is on the floor the whole 30 seconds.
Great review! I’ve got to try them!
Hmmm…i think dark chocolate is my ultimate sexy food. Especially when I discover that I have a smudge of it on my cheek that I didn’t realize for a few hours. So sexy.

Thanks for popping over to my blog! Love that scarf in your picture. Or wait, I should say j’adore it. That’s all the French I know, minus ballet terminology. Hmm, I never think about food being sexy. But wine, totally different story!

I’m really wracking my brain about what food makes me feel sexy… and I just don’t know. Pasta, maybe? It’s a little romantic in a Lady and The Tramp kind of way…

Sexiest food ever: chocolate covered strawberries. Not gonna lie, I don’t really like them, but don’t they just make you think of someone hand feeding them to you? Yowza! And can I say this: there is nothing sexy about a salad. I love them, but eating them makes me feel a little bit like a cow (not a fatty, just like I spend most of my life chewing).

LMAO at your J’Adore take! I think that every time ….especially the part with throwing off the necklace and how with me it would break and I would break my neck then I would try to be sexy in a full bosy cast in the hospital…yeah no.

Sexy foods–I am going with chocolate of any kind or wings….all that licking and sucking lol

Those bars look delicious! Can you taste the peanut butter in them at all?

  18. [...] that’s an understatement. I ADORE cheese. I CRAVE cheese. I DREAM in cheese. You get the point. Me and cheese are pretty [...]
