Happy Friday!!! Are you excited for the weekend?! I have such a great one planned I can hardly even stand it!
Tonight I’m having a girls night with my friend, Jenn. We are going to one of my favorite spots - NAYA- and then catching a movie. Tomorrow the Mister and I plan on sleeping in and lazing around until we head to dinner and a touring Broadway musical, In the Heights. Sunday my Valentine and I will be catching an early showing of “Valentine’s Day” and making a romantic dinner together at home – I can’t wait to share the goodies we have planned!
Anyway, enough of my rambling, let’s get to the outfits!
I wore this first outfir last Friday and again, I apologize for the grainy, iPhone photos. Once it is warm again the Mister will resume his role as photographer
In the mix:
- Long tank top: Michael Stars
- Hoodie: Ed Hardy
- Black Cords: Juicy
I love this next outfit because it’s warm, comfy AND office appropriate. I love the added flare the belt gives to the outfit- such a vibrant color!
In the mix:
- Cashmere sweater: SAKS
- White blouse: SAKS
- Belt: Anthropologie
- Tights: The Limited
- Shoes: Boutique in Cleveland (the brand is Lovely People)
Next up – my coziest outfit of the week. My grandma made this awesome, lounge-y sweater. It was SCREAMING my name on a frigid morning, so I dressed it up with a belt and called it a day.
In the mix:
- Sweater: Grandma (handknit!)
- Turtleneck: The Limited
- Skirt: Cannot remember
- Boots: Frye
- Belt: Nordstrom rack (can’t remember the designer, though!)
In fashion news: I was devastated to hear that Alexander McQeen died yesterday. He was so amazingly talented with such a powerful vision. His legend will live on in his amazingly creative designs. Sending prayers to his family and friends…
That’s all kids, I gotta run! I’ll be back later with the Daily Delish

I LOVE big sweatshirts and textured tights! Also, I know it wasn’t supposed to be the star of the picture, but your iPhone cover is pretty awesome. Where did you get it?
You are much too cute. There is nothing I love more than cardis+awesome tights. I really really love that last sweater, the one from your grandmother. It’s gorgeous!
Did your grandma design that or use a pattern? It’s gorgeous and I love to knit. I’d love to make something like that if she has a pattern.
Looking good girl!
I was at Naya on Friday too. I have to admit, I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Out of the four dishes we had, we only liked two and one was a salad which I don’t count because how can you mess up a salad?
