Happy Friday! Have you entered all the Yoga Week giveaways?

You didn’t think that Yoga Week would take away from Fashion Friday now, did you? Quite the contrary!

be present, a yoga clothing company is giving away YOGA GEAR!

From the company web site:

be present, a clothing line carried in yoga studios, boutiques, spas and resorts throughout the United States and the World, incorporates the yoga philosophy into the design. be present began as clothing for yogis and yoga instructors, and evolved into a company rooted in the experience of yoga, but designed for those who value versatile, simple, comfortable clothing. Yoga is a centuries old eastern philosophy with contemporary devotees, and yoga clothing needed a modern look that embraced and respected the philosophy without being commercial. Our pants are designed to weather the street as much as they are designed to hit the mat. In the years since the first be present pant was introduced, our line has set the industry standard for versatile, agile and mobile yoga pants. be present has consistently been on the forefront of creativity and originality in the yoga world. As the line evolves into a company rooted in the yogic lifestyle but accessible to anyone who values high quality, fashionable and active clothing, we will continue to be a leader in innovative designs.

Pretty cool, huh?

be present is cool enough to be giving away one of their signature shirts. If a man wins, he’ll receive a men’s tee and a if a woman wins, she’ll receive a ribbed tank.

Just because we’re working out doesn’t mean we can’t be fashionable ;)

How awesome are those?!

You keep spoiling us with all of these great giveaways–love it! My way to stay present in my life is seperating the priorities from the things I just want to do and get a bit more structure into my days.

  2. Oh wow!

My way to stay present is to remind myself that life is short. Especially when it comes to travel, I sometimes debate “is it worth the money?” The thing that gets me going? The thought of being 90 years old and having regrets. I don’t want that.

  3. Love that tank top! My favorite way to be present is…by practicing regular yoga!!! Haha.

  4. Did I mention that I love your blog this week? I try to “be present” by focusing on the now instead of what’s happening in the future.

  5. you are already on google reader and my blogroll

    Love the giveaway girl!

I work on being present by making goals, focusing on what makese & my husband happy in life, cherishing moments and not letting them pass me by. It’s too easy to get caught up in the mundane things of life. I choose to live life to it’s fullest!

And you’re so on my blog roll and I’m tweeting this :) cause it’s so awesome!

I always try to live in the now, not dwelling in the past or future.

  15. Being present is something that I am really working on. Unfortunately, I tend to stay in planning mode virtually all the time. Even when I am doing the things I planned, I am planning the next thing!

What helps me is listening to music and trying to get the things that stress me out finished beforehand so that when it comes time to relax and enjoy, I am actually there in my body AND my mind.

Thanks for the giveaways! You’re on my blogroll, too. :)

I strive to “be present” all the time — and the only time when I feel like I can truly achieve this is on the yoga mat. Thanks for the reminder sweets :) Happy friday! xo

I try to stay present by getting things done I need to do right away so I don’t keep putting off the things I want to do.

I tweeted, and I follow your blog in google reader:)

  24. Such a cute tank! I try to stay present by being informed. I hate not knowing what is going on!

  25. I’m glad the Be Present isn’t directly over the boobs. I often skip shirts that have words on them for exactly that reason.

I am present by taking the time to refocus every day and ask myself if what I am doing will further my goals. If I’m just stalling or killing time, it helps me choose to keep going.

I work in an elementary school surrounded by little ones who understand that everything important is happening now! They haven’t figured out the concept of yesterday or tomorrow. To truly be with them I must remind myself to be present.

I just found your blog and added you to my Google Reader! I love your blog! Just started doing yoga and I’m always looking for advice and new friends who also do it.

As far as being present… Last January I was fortunate to volunteer in a rural community in Nicaragua. Part of our experience was of course our manual labor but that was only a tiny fragment. In my short time there, I learned so many valuable lessons and shared unforgettable experiences with those I was with. One ‘lesson’ that has really stayed with me came from our group decision not to use our digital cameras or electronic equipment while staying in the community. This is the type of developing world community with very little access to the outside world, little by way of public amenities and luxuries, and our decision was based on the fact that we didn’t want to be a group of tourists coming to watch, take pictures, and go home. We wanted to truly be in the moment fully, which is something often lost when living life behind the lens of a camera. I used to be somewhat of a camera whore – I think my entire sophomore and junior years of college are photodocumented on Facebook. Ever since Nicaragua, I’ve really learned to not just put the camera down but forget about it entirely. There are moments you cannot capture on film, you simply have to be present to experience them and they will stay with you for a lifetime.

    Great Giveaway!

Great giveaway by the way!! I try really hard to be present when talking with my daughters – to not think about what I’m cooking for dinner or what I need to do later on – to just listen to what they are saying and look at their faces and enjoy the moment and be thankful for them.

I try to be present by keeping my eyes “open” as I walk around during the day. I don’t just look at my feet, I take in the world around me :-)

Thanks for all these awesome giveaways! I love the be present company, as does my sister. I’d always been trying to “be in the present” but I realized that I was trying so hard to do it that I ended up doing the complete opposite. So now I’m trying to relax more, to breathe, to accept things and trust my instincts.

  45. Ahh, that’s such a cute tank! I try to stay present by taking deep breaths when I feel myself going too fast through things/life in general. It seems to slow me down so I can enjoy my surroundings at the time.
