Happy Friday! Have you entered all the Yoga Week giveaways?
You didn’t think that Yoga Week would take away from Fashion Friday now, did you? Quite the contrary!
be present, a yoga clothing company is giving away YOGA GEAR!
From the company web site:
be present, a clothing line carried in yoga studios, boutiques, spas and resorts throughout the United States and the World, incorporates the yoga philosophy into the design. be present began as clothing for yogis and yoga instructors, and evolved into a company rooted in the experience of yoga, but designed for those who value versatile, simple, comfortable clothing. Yoga is a centuries old eastern philosophy with contemporary devotees, and yoga clothing needed a modern look that embraced and respected the philosophy without being commercial. Our pants are designed to weather the street as much as they are designed to hit the mat. In the years since the first be present pant was introduced, our line has set the industry standard for versatile, agile and mobile yoga pants. be present has consistently been on the forefront of creativity and originality in the yoga world. As the line evolves into a company rooted in the yogic lifestyle but accessible to anyone who values high quality, fashionable and active clothing, we will continue to be a leader in innovative designs.
Pretty cool, huh?
be present is cool enough to be giving away one of their signature shirts. If a man wins, he’ll receive a men’s tee and a if a woman wins, she’ll receive a ribbed tank.
Just because we’re working out doesn’t mean we can’t be fashionable
How awesome are those?!

I try to be present by listening to others and listening for what I need and by remembering to be true to myself.
I try to be present by stopping to listen rather than always trying to multitask.
I try to be present by taking deep breaths, really engaging myself in conversations with others, and stopping myself from planning too far in advance.

I try to journal everyday to be present. Also, when I start thinking about the future too much, I work on switching my focus to experiencing the exact moment I’m in right then.
Fun giveaway! Whenever I need to feel more present, I just remind myself to breathe. It always grounds me and keeps me centered!

I try each day to focus on the hours ahead of me- dwelling over the past or becoming anxious over the future is not how I want to live

I feel like being present just means to literally be present. Not thinking about the past, not thinking about the future. Just being in the moment and enjoying every second of your life. I try to be present by just taking in every detail of things.
I try to say hello to all of my friends whenever I see them.
Keeps us all grounded.

I think being present is definitely important in every day life. I try to be present in my routines, like getting ready, exercising and driving, and I write my to-do lists at work so I can then focus on the task at hand rather than running through the list in my head so I don’t forget it.
I worked the idea of “be present” into my passwords as a reminder.

To remember to “be present”, I remind myself to breathe. It sounds silly, but I’m not a good breather!
i try to appreciate the little things that i normally take for granted!
tweet tweet!!! @carrothead
I am doing my legal clerkship at the moment which is really stressful – but to try and focus on the present and each and every day I am planning little “treats” for myself during the week (a hot bath, a sesame oil massage, my wednesday night yoga lesson, coffee with friends) – and I also talk to my mum about her work as a nurse and especially about her honorary post in a homeless shelter. Makes you appreciate what you have and I always try and help in that facility to give something back!!

I remember to be present in life the most when I am outdoors. Whether it be a run, yoga on the beach, or a hike – Nature is a quiet reminder to be present !! @crazy_bliss
I think that working out makes me feel present. You feel very present in your own body.
Your already on my google reader.
Tweeted the giveaways as well.
I try to stay balanced by sticking with specific morning and evening routines every day.
In the morning: before I get out of bed, I spend some time thinking about my day and how wonderful it’s going to be and how grateful I am for all the things in my life. Then I rehydrate my body with water and start to get into my day.
In the evening: I spend time journaling before bed and reflecting on the day that has passed. I’ll often do a couple number puzzles or read a little and then drift off to a long deep sleep (which in and of itself is a fantastic way to stay balanced!!)
I’m following on google reader
I try to be (and stay) present by remembering to be grateful. Before I go to bed, I make a list of 5 things I am grateful for– this helps me to focus on all that I have to be thankful for, rather than the stressors and distractions.
Thanks for the chance to enter!
P.S. I follow your blog via Google Reader
I am trying to be more present in my eating. I notice I am eating more often in smaller amounts. Hopefully I can keep getting more in tune with my body and what it needs.
Yoga has been a awesome influence on my life. It’s helped my love life, my mental clarity, and my self image. I wish more people would look into it.
I try to be present when I am feeling intense feelings. Whatever the feeling I try and tone it down and just experience what is going on in and around me. Then there are all the mundane times I try and remember to be present for like doing laundry!
I am following you now!

I try to let go of things that have happened in the past that I can’t change anymore. Sometimes its easy, sometimes it’s a very big challenge.

I try to be present by empathizing with others and understanding their desires and needs.
