Special Report – The tree is trimmed!

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen that the Mister and I have trimmed our tree!
Let me back up for a moment. I’m pretty hardcore when it comes to Christmas (heck, all holidays for that matter — remember my homage to Halloween?!). That being said, I DID NOT start thinking “Christmas” or start jamming to my favorite Christmas tunes until AFTER Thanksgiving. Why? Because as much as I love the Holiday, I think we should all concentrate on and handle one at a time. How can we fully appreciate and be ‘present’ for Thanksgiving if we’re already thinking about PRESENTS (HA!) and Christmas carols? The simple fact is that we can’t. And so that is why I try and hold off until I’ve fully enjoyed turkey, stuffing and lots of pumpkin pie.
BUT IT’S GO-TIME, FOLKS!
