The Daily Balance

Good morning, everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend – it was GORGEOUS here!

Just wanted to take a short moment and let you know that I have Jury Duty this week. It shouldn’t interfere with my daily posts, but it’s only my first day, so I’m not sure how it will go — I’m kind of excited though!

The Mister has been telling me over and over again than it WILL NOT be like it is in the movies (I have an active imagination) I keep having him refer to me and Juror # _____ (Who out there as seen 12 Angry Men?)

Anyway, I’m hoping that posting won’t be affected, but no promises — Unfortunately civic responsibility comes before blogging responsibility (I know, right? Who made theses rules?!)

Anyway, just wanted to give you the heads-up!

Have any of you ever served as a juror? Do you look forward to it or dread it?

   ha, my boyfriend actually had jury duty a few weeks ago. and get this… he wouldn’t tell me anything! apparently you’re not allowed to discuss the case outside the deliberation room until the verdict is final. so it wasn’t until the very end that i found out he sent a mexican drug lord to jail for 40 years. it might be exciting!

   I haven’t done jury duty yet, and if I don’t get selected within the next few years, I never will, since I intend to qualify as a solicitor which will make me exempt.

   I actually kinda want to experience it!

   I had jury duty a few weeks ago, but in MA we have a phone number you can call in the morning and they tell you whether or not you have to show up. I didn’t have to go!! I hope you’re in and out of there and can enjoy the day.
