Getting into the spirit of Halloween makes me happy (I was born on Halloween, after all!) and so this week I am thankful for things that help us get into the spirit of Halloween. Whether it’s decorations, fun activities like hay rides and haunted houses, candy corn, apple cider and pumpkin spice lattes or curling up on the couch to watch scary movies, I’m thankful for all of this ‘fun!’ I know, I know, most of it is consumer-driven and many of you think is a waste of money. But it makes me smile and feel happy inside and that’s all that matters.

What us your favorite way to get into the spirit of Fall and Halloween? I know I’ll be picking up some candy corn this weekend for TV -snacking ;) (you all know calories and nutritional information doesn’t count when you are honoring a holiday ;) )

I love all your decorations. The fall is my favorite season and the way I get in the spirit is by consuming all things pumpkin and I buy apple cidar. I also also tend to buy more apples because it reminds me of growing up and going to Mapleside Farms for apples and pumpkins.

Love the candles and pumpkins, especially with the lights off. Very atmospheric.

I am desperate to try one of those Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I haven’t seen them over here in the UK. Though our Halloween is celebrated at the end of October, so maybe they’ll be around soon (hopeful!). I’ll just have to continue consoling myself with copious amounts of Gingerbread Latte!

The best bit of Halloween for me is all of our neighbours’ kids coming round really excited about dressing up for Trick or Treat. So adorable.

  4. Love Halloween, and all your decorations look so cute! I definitely need to go out and buy some because we don’t have any and I know our apartment will look better once they’re in place.

Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, and candy corn all make me happy. You can never have enough pumpkin flavoring!

I love your Halloween decorations! Halloween is my dad’s birthday too, so it was always extra-festive at our house. I am OBSESSED with candy corn, but only let myself have it at Halloween.
