Thankful Thursday – Jack-o-lanterns, broomsticks and candy corn, oh my!
Categories:
Good morning!
With football starting last weekend and MANY FALL ACTIVITIES planned for this coming weekend (just you wait!), it was time.
Time for what, you ask?

Welcome!
Halloween decorations, of course!

Dining room table

Close up

Shrooms!

Causing mischief above the pot rack

and above the fridge...

Mantel mood lighting

Lights on

Lights off
Getting into the spirit of Halloween makes me happy (I was born on Halloween, after all!) and so this week I am thankful for things that help us get into the spirit of Halloween. Whether it’s decorations, fun activities like hay rides and haunted houses, candy corn, apple cider and pumpkin spice lattes or curling up on the couch to watch scary movies, I’m thankful for all of this ‘fun!’ I know, I know, most of it is consumer-driven and many of you think is a waste of money. But it makes me smile and feel happy inside and that’s all that matters.
What us your favorite way to get into the spirit of Fall and Halloween? I know I’ll be picking up some candy corn this weekend for TV -snacking
(you all know calories and nutritional information doesn’t count when you are honoring a holiday
)
