The Daily Balance

Remember the Mister’s birthday dinner? You didn’t think we gypped the kid of birthday cake, did you?

Of course not! We did it in style with carrot cake and chocolate fudge cake. Both were incredibly delicious and a fantastic way to end our special meal.

What treat do you normally enjoy on your birthday? Cake? Ice cream?

With my HALLOWEEN birthday coming up, I’m certainly looking forward to my highly anticipated treat!

   On my birthday all I want are things I love — Starbucks, pastries, chocolate, things I don’t usually eat so freely. This Saturday I’ll hopefully be having all of the above, plus a fabulous dinner and dessert!

   DEFINITELY cake! Preferably cheesecake or angel food cake or chocolate cake. I don’t think a combination of all three would be so very good though.

   OMG cake… i love cake. And pie. BUT my traditional birthday dessert is a baskin robbins mint chocolate chip cake roll. Nothing like ice cream, rolled up with cake, topped with fudge!
