Fashion Friday – Feel-good clothes and a contest update

Happy Friday!!!

Are we ready for the weekend, or what? I know this was a short week and all, but after my fantabulous trip to Toronto, I never got too happy back at the office — needless to say, I am READY for the weekend.

Let’s get right to the good stuff, shall we?

Now, I know this outfit isn’t the most fashion forward thing you’ve ever seen, but the skirt makes me happy and it was just what I needed for coming back to work with a smile on my face (instead of a scowl! – trust me, I was feeling the scowl!). It also reminds me of fall and that makes me smile even more, so for me, this was a win-win ;)

In the mix:

FASHION FRIDAY CONTEST UPDATE

OK, so I have received quite a bit of emails with questions regarding the Fashion Friday Contest and I have made an executive decision.

Contest will resume, NEXT Friday.

Each month, the contest will be on the last Friday of the month. I think that will be easiest for everyone to remember (right?) and I promise I’ll try and do a better job of reminding you. Those of you who sent me your photos this month, THANK YOU! I’ll be sure to include them all next week. SLACKERS (you know who you are) – send me your photos anytime before next Friday to be entered to win a fantabulous prize pack. Remember, the winners are selected at random, this is not a ‘who has the cutest outfit’ contest, it’s just fun to see what everyone is wearing ;)

Well, I’m off to get some work done (and start counting down the hours until the weekend!) – see you all later for the Daily Delish!

    I am new to my office and yesterday a women complimented me on how I always have great outfits. That really put a smile on my face. I always try to “dress to impress” but it is great that others I don’t even know notice too. Cheesy I know! :-)

    Beautiful, as always!

    The accessory that has made me really happy this week has been a gorgeous pashmina that my sister bought me for my birthday last weekend. It is a pearly cream colour with a bold amber floral print. Perfect for this inbetween weather and has made me very happy each time I’ve worn it.
