After reading a fabulous review from Angela, I knew that our trip to Toronto would not be complete without stopping at Fresh.

- Quenching our thirst at Fresh
We started off with some water – I love when restaurants use bottles or old school glassware to serve the water!
I ordered the soup, salad and corn ‘bread’ combo and the Mister ordered the protein salad, which contained grilled tempeh and was topped with an omega rich salad topper (puffed quinoa, goji berries, currants, pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds & sea salt)

Salad and corn'bread'

The Mister's protein salad

Butternut squash + Bartlett pear + ginger = heavenly goodness
Everything was so good! We just kept “yummmmm-ing” the whole time! The soup was honestly the best I’ve ever had – like fall in a bowl! I’m going to try and re-create it at home sometime soon. The Mister and I were incredibly impressed with this spot and were wondering why a franchise hasn’t opened in the States! Anyone want to get on that for us?
Reminder: Only a few hours left to bid in the Blogger Bake Sale! All bidders are entered to win an awesome prize pack (valued at more than $20), so go bid! There are still a few items that are only $5 (which is less than half the value of the prize pack!)!

Hi Shannon! I have to say…everything really does look fantastic!!! I think i’m a huuuge fan of your soup!!! It’s inspiring me to make my own at home.
I also like your man’s protein salad! Ahhh you make Canada seem fun. I was there when i was really young and i have to say, i wasn’t a huge fan because i ran out of things to do super fast. Maybe i need to revisit!
