Remember when I talked about taking summer pieces and making them work for the fall?

Well I had the opportunity to practice what I preach this week when the temperatures dropped to the 60s!

I started with a summer jersey dress from Anthropologie and added:

• Long sleeved black shirt to layer underneath: BCBG
• Black leather bomber vest: Nordstrom Rack
• Black Boots: Boutique in Chicago – Jeffrey Campbell
• Belt: Cannot remember!
• Black watch necklace: Marc Jacobs

I am OBSESSED with this jacket/vest. I think it will be a great layering piece to take me into fall/winter and I love that I can wear it with a dress or just a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. I’m so happy I found it, as I’m sure it’s going to become my seasonal piece.
