Try it – Pizza, Pizza!

So ever since our BEST ZA experience EVER, the Mister and I have been on a little mission — let’s face it, the Flatouts, while VERY GOOD, just aren’t cutting it for us right now. No, sirree. What we crave is a chewy, doughy crust that often comes with too many calories to have more than one or pieces– and who can have ONE PIECE? Not I.
Enter: Mission crust
After some time spent on the grocery store shelves we finally found it – Whole Foods (no surprise!) 365 Organic Pizza Crust
I actually purchased the ‘Original’ version, as they were out of the whole wheat and surprisingly, this actually reduced the calories and fat a bit. I would have still preferred the whole wheat, but c’est la vie – we needed pizza!
I topped the crust with 3/4 cup pizza sauce and 1 1/4 cups 2% Kraft Italian blend cheese. After seasoning with Italian herbs and spices I popped the pie into the oven for 10 minutes.
