Daliy Delish – My name is Shannon and I’m a garlic twist addict

So I may have mentioned my obsession with Pasquale’s Garlic twist rolls once or twice before. Do I need to hit you over the head with it people?! I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Of course while the Mister and I were in the beautiful and picturesque Westerville, Ohio this weekend, we stopped in for dinner. We NEVER go to Columbus without stopping at Pasquale’s. EVER. In fact, I’ve craved the stuff so badly that I came THIS CLOSE to convincing the Mister to drive down there (2 hours) JUST to go to Pasquale’s…(he didn’t budge).

But this weekend, AHHHH, I was able to reunite with my sweet mistress…

I’m honestly salivating at the very THOUGHT of these rolls! I’m immediately regretting not having them freeze me three dozen to take home (I’ve done this before — like I said, I’m obsessed!) They are deliciously doughy and perfectly seasoned with garlic and salt. The twists come with mouthwatering sauce, too. The rolls are not the same without this sauce! While still quite delicious, these rolls really are ten times better with the homemade sauce. If you are ever in Columbus, promise me you will pay a visit to Pasquale’s. Your (and my! – since I’ll be living vicariously though you) taste buds will thank you.

OK now it’s your turn, which of your favorite dishes would you drive two hours (note: I want to go on the record saying I would trek around the WORLD for these doughy delights!) to enjoy?

I live in Cinci, and now I need to go check out this restaurant next time I am in Columbus!

I think one of my favorite two hour drive dishes is my mom’s Ethiopian Seitan and Peppers from Vegan With a Vengeance. So gooood!

When Bill and I were in college, we once drove two hours for pancakes. It was to an IHOP, which seems crazy now – but I had never been to one (I lived in the middle of nowhere!). Ironically, it was in Poland, Ohio. Ever been?

I was immediately taken its welcoming, fresh atmosphere and as soon as I tasted the food, I knew Mr. Fazio and I were meant to be. Fate brought us together and the buttered garlic bread kept bringing me back (doesn’t it always?). [...]
