Lets go to the SHOW!  Name the musical

As trite and superficial as this may sound, especially after last week’s meaningful post, this week I’m thankful for Summer movies.

I don’t know what it is (other than the fact that I’m a HUGE dork!), but one of my favorite summer past times is walking to CVS or Walgreen’s, filling my purse up with Sour Patch Kids (I take the red ones and leave the rest for the Mister) and chocolate covered pretzels and taking in a good movie.

Remember when you used to have your parents drop you off at the movies? HA! Remember your first BOY/GIRL movie? Too funny! Well, while many adolescents grow out of the whole “spending the summer at the movies” phase, I did not. Don’t worry, I’m actually quite proud of it.

At any given point in the summer, you can bet the Mister and I have seen at least 90% of the movies in the theatres. We normally see at least one a weekend. Yes, we love taking in the outdoors, but nothing beats a good movie! Can I get an Amen?

What movie are you most looking forward to this Summer? I know many of you are Harry Potter fans! I personally are most looking forward to The Time Traveler’s Wife (my favorite book ever!) and The Ugly Truth. So far, The Hangover has been my favorite

   I remember when I was little, my Grandma and I had movie dates and she would stuff candy in her purse for me – awww, good times

   I haven’t seen a movie in a theater in a LONG time but The Time Traveler’s Wife is on my must-see list!

   My man and I hardly ever go to the movies anymore, as we are too accustomed to the comforts of home

   But I NEED to see the Hangover after hearing everyone talk about how funny it is, and I’d like to see Bruno too, lol!
