Make it – Spinach and Goat Cheese Turkey Burgers
Categories:
Good morning everyone and HAPPY MONDAY! Sense the enthusiasm in my voice? Ah, yes, I tricked you! I am merely also trying to trick myself into getting halfway excited about going back to work. After 4 glorious days off spent adventuring with the Mister (AND I have another adventure to share!) and spending time with friends and family, I’m not ready for all the fun to end (damn you who all have a REAL summer! – hold on to it, people!).
I received several requests for the Spinach Goat Cheese Turkey Burger recipe from my dinning al fresco post. Ask, and you shall receive, people – I’m here for YOU!
Get ready because this recipe is kinda tricky… (for those of you who are a bit slow this Monday morning [or those who share Sheldon's dilemma], have no fear – I’m being sarcastic
)
You’ll need:
- 1 to 1 1/2 pound(s) of ground turkey (depending on your desired patty size)
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 2 tablespoons goat cheese (crumbled)
1.) Preheat oven broiler or grill
2.) Mix turkey, spinach and cheese. Form mixture into 4 patties, equal in size.
3.) Arrange patties on grill or broiler pan. Cook 15 minutes, or until done.

Try adding any other fun mix-ins that suit your fancy!
I like adding pine nuts or sun dried tomatoes.
Feel free to experiment with other cheese and vegetables, too!
What is your favorite burger mix-in?
spinach and goat cheese are the perfect combo on it’s own but paired with a delicious turkey burger?! heaven!
I think that these will be on a menu soon… i have coupons for free goat cheese and TONS of spinach in the fridge!!
Um, yum! Have you noticed that Spinach is getting slightly harder to find though? Do you think it’s peak has passed?
Great recipe! I really like ground nuts in my veggie burgers. Mmm…nuts
well, since I JUST got a BBQ…I think these yummy burgers are just BEGGING me to be made
They look super yummy!!
Looks great! Thank you- I’m going to try it (possibly with addition of cranberry sauce)
Like you, I love mixing spinach in burgers. It adds volume to the burger and is a great way to sneak in some veggies! I also adore fresh dill in my burgers!
Happiness Awaits
Mmm yummy, that’s a great combination. And your adventure sounds like tons of fun!
My man doesn’t like: goat cheese, turkey burgers or spinach. But this makes me go GAH-GAH. next time HE’s in the mood for cow, I’ll mix up one of those delicacies. Merci!
Yum! Thank you!
