Daily Delish – Grilled cheese makes me a HAPPY girl

In the meantime, I figured I’d share our dinner experience from tonight. We went to Tommy’s, one of our favorite restaurants, which actually specializes in vegetarian cuisine. Tommy’s is located in Coventry, just a short walk from our house.

I love the playful window paintings on the restaurant’s windows.

The Mister and I started off by ordering some hummus. It was topped with fresh veggies and melted cheese (you must try this at home!) and served with fresh pita.

I have been CRAVING a grilled cheese sandwich, so I ordered a light cheese melt on pita with green peppers, tomato and lettce. It was everything I had hoped for ;)

Alright kiddos, well, we’ve had a LOOONG day and so I’m going to go relax on the couch with my Mister and watch episodes of the Big Bang Theory – I love that lil Sheldon! Does anyone else watch this show? The Mister and I just started watching and we LOVE it!

Are you excited for the fireworks?!

    Melted cheese on the hummus?! Hmmm…..it sounds good! My mom and my aunt always talk about Sheldon but I’ve never seen the show!

    There’s a restaurant by my house called Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup – shockingly I haven’t been but doesn’t it sound yummy?!

    I love grilled cheese!!! But I have to say that the melted cheese on the hummus doesn’t look all that appetizing. One of things I love about hummus is the cool garlic-y taste and I think the cheese might over power the whole thing. Give me a bowl of cheesy bean dip though…. YUM!

    We were at Tommy’s with the rest of Cleveland on the third. Love everything they make but adore the veggie burgers. My absolute favorite place as a kid.
