Fashion Friday – Nothing but blue skies…

Happy Fashion Friday!
I can’t even begin to tell you how THRILLED I am that we are so close to the weekend! I’ve literally been working since LAST Monday, working through last weekend (even though I had some fun eating Cuban food with other bloggies and GIORDANOS with the Mister!), In any case, it’s good to know that a long break is coming! The Mister and I have a lot going on and the weekend is jam packed with fun activities, so I’ll be sure to keep you all in the loop! (and hopefully remember to take pics!)
This week we were blessed with some GORGEOUS weather!
Paying tribute to the BLUE skies, I’m featuring two blue outfits this week 
The first outfit features a dress that the Mister bought me! It’s strange, since I have so many clothes and am always wearing different things, the Mister really doesn’t react much to what I wear on a daily basis. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s just become ‘the norm.’ He is also quite fashionable himself (I promise I’ll feature him for Fashion Friday – ‘Mister Edition’ soon!), so looking nice isn’t some crazy out-of-the-ordinary thing. Anyway when we were shopping a few years ago he spotted a dress that he INSISTED that he buy me. It’s nothing that special (very comfortable, though!), but it always makes me feel fantastic whenever I wear it. I love looking pretty for my Mister It’s a spaghetti strap summer dress, but I pair it with leggings and a cardigan to make it work-friendly.

Next we have an outfit I’m wearing today. Crisp white jeans (it’s Friday!) with a pop of color and a cover-up sweater I’ve been wanting to wear. I had to choose a solid color to compliment the bold stripes of the light weight sweater and I think I like the look – almost a bit nautical feeling! I brought the whole look together with my bright blue flats.

Again, I am loving Lydia’s COLOR! I’m kind of obsessed with jewel tones right now, so this top is right up my ally. I also adore the flower accent – the personality if the outfit! Lydia always looks like she just stepped of the pages of a catalog or magazine, because her style is so original and unique to her… I love it!

Look how incredibly chic Marion is looking in that hat! It MAKES the outfit! Can I just say how much i adore the fact that it’s from IRELAND?! A true one-of-a-kind piece. Love how she pairs it with something so simple for effortless style.

Mary just started her summer vacation and this outfit was from a relaxing day this week when she was catching up on summer reading and spending time with friends and family. Let’s just say I don’t look nearly as cute when I’m relaxing! And can we just take a step back here and call-out that this skirt was MADE by Mary? I love the print, it hits her perfectly below the knee and looks simply adorable…I’m so impressed!
