Daily Delish – If you make a cow laugh, will milk come out its nose?

Daily Delish

Muahahahaha. I crack myself up!

In all seriousness, though. Have you tried Laughing Cow cheese wedges? I certainly hope so, because if you haven’t, you are missing out. Make sure to add it to your grocery list this weekend. Laughing cow cheese wedges can be used in a multitude of recipes, from low-fat fettuccine alfredo to cream-based sauces and melty cheese sandwiches. Get some ideas on their Web site in the recipe section.

One of my favorite ways to eat Laughing Cow is with a crunchy, tart apple.

SIDE NOTE: want to gross me out? Give me a mealy apple. I will SPIT IT OUT! Mealy apples are THE WORST. Honestly, I don’t think anything is more disappointing than biting into an apple’s expected juicy goodness and instead being welcomed by crumbly, mealy ickiness…so gross! One of my biggest turn-off foods!

Luckily my apple was crisp, juicy and tart, just the way I like ‘em! (P.S. Honeycrisp apples are they best apples on the planet and they are only available for four months here in Cleveland. WHYYYYY????)

Check out that cheesey goodness!

Check out that cheesey goodness!

Just take a look at the creamy goodness. I love this pairing of flavors because the creaminess of the cheese really complements the tartness of the apple. So delish!

Have to totally agree with you about mealy apples. I make my breakfast at work and I always bring an apple. I HATE not having an apple to put in my oatmeal, but if it is bad- forget it I’d rather eat plain oatmeal. Haha.
    Love your blog :)

I`ve never tried laughing cow – I might consider it as I rarely have cheese and the big blocks always go moldy on me.

  8. I LOVE Laughing Cow cheese, especially on some whole grain bread and then topped with a tomato.

I love Laughing Cow, and how few calories there are in them! I put them in sandwiches and don’t feel bad about it! The one ick: there’s 0.1g of trans fats :(

  15. Love Laughing Cow! I like mine with just some kashi crackers and if it’s a treat night, bring on the wine! :)

  16. I looooooooooove Laughing Cow cheese. I call it “dieter’s Brie.” Yum yum yum.
I also like it in teeny-tiny squares. My kids used to love those and we all call it “moo-moo cheese.” Aw.

I think that Laughing Cow cheese was one of the hardest things to give up when I decided to give up dairy. I’m pretty sure it and cheesecake are about the only things I indulge in when I want dairy. Tasty tasty!
