Well I just got home from mall-walking (DORK ALERT!) with my mom and I am happy to say that Monday is almost over! Why is it that Mondays have such a horrible connotation? Why can’t I see them as a fresh beginning or a clean slate, instead of “the longest span of time before the weekend.” Seriously! They aren’t going anywhere, Mondays are here to stay, so I might as well embrace them. Easier said than done, huh? Well, I’m going to work on it. Consider it a goal
I always try and spruce up my Mondays by packing fun snacks to look forward to. Call it lame if you will, but it gets me through my ‘Manic Monday’ with a smile. Today’s treat? A Rudi’s Cinnamon Raisin Bagel. Ever since Rudi’s sent me a sampler package I’ve been ITCHING to bite into the cinnamon raisin bagels. But I knew they’d be perfect for my “Monday-save-me-from-hell-pick-me-up,” so I resisted.
It was so worth the wait! This bagel was amazing! So soft and chewy, just the way I like ‘em! It tasted just like the calorie-refined-carb laden rings of doughy goodness that I have come to know and love!
But those of you who have purchased from Rudi’s Organic Bakery know that all of their products are made with natural ingredients and whole grains.

I also loved the fact that the bagels are only 150 calories! Most traditional bagels are at LEAST 300!
