Good morning, and Happy Friday!!!
 
I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am for the weeked! It’s the FIRST time all year that beautiful weather is forecasted for the ENTIRE weekend.
 
This week was anything but beautiful. The cold, damp air returned and we were greeted with showers and freezing rain all week.  ACK! Hate that! Mainly because it makes it so difficult to put an outfit together — will it be hot or cold? rain or shine? muggy or brisk? You get the picture…
 
I wanted to share one of my favorite COMFORTABLE outfits this week. I wanted a classic, professional look that would also give me the ‘comfy’ feeling I always seem to crave when the weather is grey.

Sue’s dress is from Forever 21, and the platforms are from are from Bakers. The beautiful turquoise pendant is from her grandmother! Sue explained, “my grandma loves flea markets and has collected an amazing amount of costume jewelry throughout the years.” The cord around Sue’s head is also from her grandma’s collection! Sue– I think you look adorable! Lovin’ the gold with the pop of turquoise!

Sherry shares that “sometimes we can find the best things, going thru our guys clothes…” I couldn’t agree more! You have no idea how many times I’ve taken some of the Misters T-shirts for layering purposes. I’ve even worn a pair of his pants before when I was looking for an EXTRA slouchy pair ;) (at least he’s tiny!)

I love how she borrowed pieces from each of her sons! I love the neutral palette with the pop of color. The whole look is incredibly soft and feminine, even though she’s incorporating menswear! love it!

    i’ve always been a mustard man personally. something about that ‘stache….

    love the fashion fridays. you are so pretty! and that does look like comfortable work attire. however, i am the king of comfy work clothes… i work at home in pajamas most of the day. i do usually get dressed around lunchtime though. it makes me feel alive.

    I agree the finishing touches on that Anthropolgie cardigan really make a plain item stand out. However, I think what makes this look so well-put together is not due to any of the clothes or accessories, but it’s that you have beautiful hair! Your hair always looks nice! :-)
